Spotlight London is a series of gigs which take place in music venues, shops and stores of London’s West End, in front of talent scouts, industry executives and the capital’s most discerning music fans. City Showcase offers a unique opportunity for fans to get involved in this event.
With the slogan, 'Everyone’s an A&R', City Showcase is looking for fans’ opinions about who should be playing on their stage. Fans are encouraged to nominate their favourite solo acts or bands for the Spotlight London event held in the West End from 5 to 8 May 2011.
There will be free tickets given to the first fans who nominated the bands that are chosen to perform. In addition, these fans will be fully credited as the source of the booking on their website.
So if you think you can do a better job than professional A&R, go and prove it!
