On 11 October, VOCES8 is joining forces with members of baroque orchestra, Charivari Agréable, to celebrate the release of their latest album of JS Bach's glorious Motets. The launch marks VOCES8's second annual Friends event and takes place at St Mary-at-Hill Church, London.
This collection of six motets (BWV 225 - 230) showcases Bach's undeniable brilliance. The composer's compelling choice of texts paired with his use of compositional techniques uniquely reflects the parallels between his faith and his art.
