run to the beat 2010

Run for us and make a difference to musicians’ lives.

As part of our 90th birthday celebrations, the Fund has several charity places in London’s music half marathon. Run to the Beat powered by Nike + starts and finishes at The O2 in London on Sunday 25 September 2011. The course is 13.1 miles and has 16 live music stages along the way.

Running a marathon is a great way to stay fit and fundraise for our cause. ENO tuba player Nick Hitchens will lead the team running this music half marathon, and he will be joined by cellist Guy Johnston and Fund member of staff Christine Brown. We have 6 charity places left, and we hope to fill them with a mix of professional musicians, music-lovers, and supporters of the Fund.

To secure your place please get in touch as soon as you can. There is a deposit price of £68 - to cover our cost of purchasing the place and to ensure that all money raised goes towards our important work.
