Ronald Corp's 60th birthday concert in association with the Musicians Benevolent Fund

Book tickets for this special celebratory concert taking place at the Royal Festival Hall this Saturday 9 July at 7.30pm.

The concert brings together the Highgate Choral Society, The London Chorus, New London Children’s Choir and New London Orchestra and features sixteen award recipients from the Musicians Benevolent Fund as soloists, all under the direction of Ronald Corp (pictured right).

The programme includes Ronald Corp's And All the Trumpets Sounded and The Wayfarer which has been specially written for our 90th birthday. The concert will end with a performance of Carl Orff's popular Carmina Burana.

The concert will be preceded by a talk at 6.15pm as Ronald Corp reflects on his work as a composer, conductor and choral trainer, in conversation with Richard Morrison. Admission to the talk is free to ticket holders.

Ronald Corp will also be featured on BBC Radio 3's 'In Tune' live on the evening of Thursday 7th July.
