Turning your scrap into cash
The Musicians Benevolent Fund is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Giveacar, a social enterprise that picks up unwanted vehicles from anywhere in the UK, to be scrapped or auctioned, with the profits donated to charity.
How it works - the three step process:- A Giveacar employee takes down your details, which are then forwarded to their salvage partner. A collection agent is assigned and they call you to arrange a convenient time for collecting the vehicle.
- All vehicles are collected within 7 days of the initial enquiry, with the vast majority being collected within 3 days. All cars, including those that do not start, can be collected.
- Depending on the vehicle's state of repair, it will either be sold at auction or disposed of at an Authorised Treatment Facility. Giveacar receives the donation after the sale or disposal, and it is forwarded to us, with a full receipt being sent to you.
