Volunteer

The Musicians Benevolent Fund relies on the generosity of supporters to continue its crucial work. Without the help of individuals and organisations, we would be unable to provide the support that musicians need.

As a Volunteer Musicians Supporter you would provide a vital service by visiting beneficiaries in their own homes. These beneficiaries would most likely be retired musicians and their dependants who are in need of ongoing social support.

Festival of Saint Cecilia - 21 November 2012

The Festival of Saint Cecilia is the main event in the calendar of the Musicians Benevolent Fund and is a celebration of music and musicians. An hour-long Service will take place at St Paul's Cathedral at 11am on Wednesday 21 November.

If you would be interested in helping to welcome and usher guests to their seats, and to assist with the collection at the end of the Service, please get in touch.

Cards for Good Causes - Christmas 2012

Every year the Fund's Christmas cards are sold in temporary shops and sites such as churches and libraries, which are run by volunteers with the help of Cards for Good Causes. This helps us and other charities to raise substantial funds.

If you are available up to 6-8 weeks before Christmas, for one morning or afternoon a week, and could help out in a Cards for Good Causes store, please get in touch.
