Philharmonia MMSF Instrumental Fellowship Programme

Philharmonia Orchestra

The Philharmonia MMSF Instrumental Fellowship Programme (formerly known as the Martin Musical Scholarship Fund) assists exceptional musical talent in bridging the gap between study and full-time professional status. The scheme has been designed not only to support their musical development, but also to provide them with an awareness of how an orchestra runs and their role within it. Alongside a grant of up to £1000 towards their studies, each recipient has access to a Mentor from within the Orchestra, one-to-one coaching, recital opportunities, paid work experience, masterclasses and seminars, and mock auditions.

Applications are now open for the string scheme (a two-year programme) alongside the annual woodwind, brass, harp, piano, percussion and timpani scheme.

The closing date for the 2020/21 programme is Friday 7 February 2020 and auditions will be held in the spring.
