Josh worked as a peripatetic teacher in North Wales before becoming a trumpeter on cruise liners in the Caribbean. In 2014 he started his undergraduate studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama under the tutelage of Philippe Schartz. In September 2017, Josh started his postgraduate studies in Orchestral Musicianship in Cardiff. Recent performances include Shostakovich's 10th Symphony and Respighi's 'Pines of Rome' with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and 'Forza del Destino' with the Welsh National Opera.
