Olwen currently holds the Christopher Hogwood Scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music where she is a postgraduate student of Pamela Thorby and Anna Stegmann. Prior to 2016, Olwen studied privately in Stockholm with Dan Laurin, under Peter Holtslag at the RAM (graduating in 2014 with BMus first class hons and several prizes), and with Peter Robinson at the Junior Department of Trinity Laban.

Olwen she has just begun a residency at Handel House Museum having been selected as one of five instrumentalists for their 2016 Young Artist Scheme and she is looking forward to recording her first solo commercial CD in 2017. Olwen has performed live on BBC radio 3, and in prestigious UK venues including Wigmore Hall, St Martin in the Fields, Christ Church Spitalfields, and St John’s Smith Square in concert with musicians such as Laurence Cummings, Lisa Beznosiuk, and Rachel Podger. She has recently performed concerti with Music For Awhile, the RAM Baroque Orchestra, the Amadé Players, and L’Istante and gives regular duo recitals with harpsichordist Nathaniel Mander

Olwen’s studies at the Royal Academy of Music are kindly supported by a postgraduate award from Help Musicians UK.
