Help Musicians UK (HMUK) is proud to announce that both the Fusion Fund and Transmission Fund have reopened for 2019 applications.
The funds support professional development for UK-based emerging and professional musicians over 18 from any genre in two distinct ways:
Fusion Fund supports professional musicians to undertake projects that develop and test new work, ideas or potential career directions through inspiring periods of collaborative research and development.
As recent awardee Alekxandr said: ‘Fusion Fund is such a brilliant and unique opportunity for artists to grow and diversify. I’m so thankful to Help Musicians UK for this grant which will enable me to create an immersive, audio/visual, live performance of my music through collaboration with video, lighting and set designers’.
Transmission Fund will continue to provide financial support to enable emerging and professional musicians to access short-term learning, training and mentoring opportunities both in the UK and internationally.
We are excited to say that video applications are now an option for each fund. For application advice see our applications page here.
Both funds will be open throughout the year for applications.
Though both funds will be open throughout the year, the first round of Transmission will close 5 March and Fusion Fund, 11 March.
