April Fools’ Day Delights: Rainer Hersch’s comedy concert and Juliyaa ‘Stars & Dragons’ EP performance

Looking for some April Fools’ Day fun? Come along to one of these exciting events to end your Easter weekend.

Rainer Hersch has organised a comedic, musical April Fools’ Day concert in aid of the Musicians Benevolent Fund at the Royal Festival Hall at 4pm. The concert features musical acts including the Ukele Orchestra of Great Britain and established comedians such as Alistair McGowan. After last year’s sell out success, the event is back in full force for 2013.

Tickets are between £9.50 - £34.50 and available to buy here

Or for something unique to end your Easter weekend Emerging Excellence Artist, Juliyaa, will be performing her EP ‘Stars & Dragons’ at Richmix Shoreditch on 1 April 7:30pm. The night will be hosted by BBC 1 Extra’s DJ Ace and there will also be an exhibition of collaborative artists YinnYang’s photography. Juliyaa, performs a bespoke brand of music, Rhythmic Soul, and tracks from her EP have been played on nationwide radio stations including BBC 1Xtra and BBC Radio 6.

Tickets are £5 in advance and available here or you can buy them on the door for £7.
