Help Musicians at BBC Introducing LIVE: Recap and photos

From 8-10 November 2018, we held our own dedicated space for the first time at this year’s BBC Introducing LIVE at Tobacco Dock and hosted three days of workshops, panels and performances to give people a taste of the kind of work we do here at Help Musicians UK.

With themes around Health & Wellbeing, the Industry and Artist Development, we had takeover sessions from music industry friends and partners such as MOBO, Featured Artist Coalition (FAC), Musicians’ Union (MU), Music Managers Forum (MMF) as well as Blur’s Dave Rowntree, 1xtra’s Melody Kane, and Music Support founder Samantha Parker alongside meditation, breathing, mindfulness, vocal crisis prevention and sleep improvement workshops.

We also put on six intimate live performances from artists that we’d supported through our funding programmes such as Abi Wade, Cat Delphi, Grace Savage, Nicolah, Estee Blu and Shunaji

Check out some photos of our incredible space, speakers and performers below.
