We’re proud to announce internationally renowned and respected classical violinist Tasmin Little as a Help Musicians ambassador.

Gramophone Award winner and widely acclaimed concerto soloist and recording artist, Tasmin brings a wealth of experience and an ideal voice to Help Musicians. Her outstanding 30-year career has been recognised with an OBE for services to music, a Gramophone Award for Audience Innovation, a BASCA Gold Badge Award, 5 Honorary doctorates, and a Critics’ Award Classic BRIT Award, amongst many more accolades. Tasmin has performed all over the world with orchestras including the Berlin Philharmonic, New York Philharmonic, London Symphony, London Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, and we couldn’t be more delighted to have her as an ambassador as we approach our centenary year.

Tasmin’s dedication to the profession, and her passion to communicate her love of music to as many people as possible is truly inspirational. She has thorough knowledge of the unique challenges professional musicians can encounter, and joins Help Musicians at a key point in our history.

Tasmin Little said: “I am thrilled to take up the role of ambassador for Help Musicians, which gives such meaningful and important support to so many in the profession. This support has been even more essential during the COVID crisis that has left most musicians without work and income. It was important for me to do whatever I could to raise funds and the charity has been appreciated by musicians far and wide for the immense help that has been given to so many during this hugely difficult time. I am looking forward to adding my further support in the future and being part of this important charity.”

James Ainscough, Help Musicians CEO, said: “Tasmin’s energy as a performer and passion for music shines through in everything she dedicates herself to. Over the last few months she’s championed the need for musicians to receive more support and used her exceptional talent as a performer to fundraise for our charity. I’m delighted that she is joining us as Ambassador; her depth of experience and commitment to supporting musicians will be a huge asset to Help Musicians as we head towards our centenary next year.”
