Proud to support the annual Gramophone Awards

We’re proud to announce that Help Musicians UK will be supporting this year’s Gramophone Classical Music Awards and the Young Artist of the Year on September 15 at London’s St John’s, Smith Square London.

Gramophone Magazine is considered the world’s authority on recorded classical music, with the awards often termed the ‘Oscars’ of classical music. Launched in 1977, the Gramophone Awards is undoubtedly the most significant honour within the classical record industry, and Help Musicians UK is proud to have a presence throughout the evening.

Claire Gevaux, Creative Director at HMUK said: “We are delighted to be able to support the Young Artist of the Year category at the Gramophone Awards for the first time this year. Supporting and celebrating emerging talent is a fundamental part of what we do in ensuring musicians are empowered to have long and successful careers. We wish all the nominees the best of luck for this evening and look forward to congratulating all the winners, particularly the Young Artist.”

Gramophone’s list of award winners for its 2016 awards was unveiled recently, however the winners of the Recording of the Year, Artist of the Year, Young Artist of the Year, Lifetime Achievement and Label of the Year will be announced on the night.

The awards will be streamed by Medici TV and we’ll be live tweeting, so follow #GramoAwards for all the latest news and information
