We are excited to reveal the Summer 2013 edition of our magazine Notes, which includes exclusive features about events, news and musicians we support
Notes is published twice a year and contains fascinating insights into our work and the musicians we support. It includes a range of articles from contributors across our charity, and this edition begins with an important message from our Chief Executive David Sulkin about our new name Help Musicians UK.
This edition features news about our recent events, including the evening with Susan Bullock and friends on July 11. You can read an excerpt from Susan’s interview with the broadcaster Edward Seckerson. There are also articles about the Emerging Excellence Awards showcase as well as successful fundraising concerts by Adrian Brown and Rainer Hersch.
We also present many interesting stories of musicians we have helped, such as Daniel Mullin, a violinist in the BBC Concert Orchestra who came to us when he suffered an injury. To mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this year, you can also read an exclusive feature with our trustee Martin Neary, who was a chorister at the Queen’s Coronation in 1953.
You can read all this and much more here. If you would like to receive a copy of Notes, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
