On Friday 27 June Lambeth Palace will be opening its doors to offer a rare glimpse into the historic home of the Archbishop of Canterbury

We are thrilled to announce that Lambeth Palace will open its doors to the public for a Heritage Open Palace Experience (HOPE) Day on Friday 27 June, with all ticket proceeds going directly to support our work at Help Musicians.

For over three decades, Lambeth Palace and Help Musicians have shared a meaningful tradition of coming together in support of music and community. Since 1988, the Palace has hosted several memorable concerts and events in aid of the charity and this HOPE Day continues that rich legacy in a new and inspiring way.

We are delighted that Help Musicians has been chosen as one of this year’s charity partners and for just £10 per person, visitors will have the chance to explore some of the Palace’s most historic and significant spaces, including:

  • The State Rooms – where generations of Archbishops have welcomed guests and dignitaries.
  • The Guard Room – one of our stunning historical halls dating back to the 14th century.
  • The Great Hall – built in 1663 by Archbishop William Juxon.
  • The Crypt Chapel – a sacred space for prayer and reflection.

Also, along the way you’ll get to learn more about Help Musicians and the vital work we do to support musicians across the UK.

Tickets will be sold in 15 minute time slots from midday until 4pm. We highly anticipate this event being popular, so booking early is recommended to avoid disappointment. You can book your tickets now, using the link below.

We hope you will join us for this very special day. Your support helps us continue our mission to create a world where musicians thrive.
