I am a self-managing independent singer/songwriter. I came to prominence in the UK top 40 Charts with the girl band ‘Asia Blue’, with one single being the Radio 1 Breakfast Show track of the week. I have worked with world renowned producers such as, but not limited to, George Duke; Mike Peden (TV & Film Producer); Sheridan Tongue (BAFTA TV and Film composer); Mike Stevens (Take That band MD); Andrew Franklin, Livingstone Brown, Marcus Byrne, and James Cassidy. I was signed by A&M Records in the UK, PRA Records for the USA and BMG Music Publishing.

My music is inspired by influences in Jazz, Soul, R&B, Neo-Soul, and Gospel to name a few genres. As a solo artist, I opened at Ronnie Scotts for Beverley Knight and performed at this and other similar venues (i.e. Brixton Academy, The Fridge in Brixton, Hammersmith Apollo; Earls Court Exhibition Centre). I have also performed at UK festivals and events including Glastonbury, Edinburgh festival, and Greenbelt and toured internationally including the Caribbean, Netherlands, Europe, Sweden, Finland, Japan, U.S., and Malaysia.

I began my musical career writing songs with my guitar at the age of 7, singing and performing with my sisters ‘The Mohabir Sisters’, nationally and internationally. I wrote and co-produced the 'Feel the Power' album for the sister group in 2006. The album delivered a rich mix of sounds and emotions, with one description hailing it as Gospel with the Groove left in. At the age of 11, I performed for the Guyanese Prime Minister’s wife and was awarded a Certificate of Excellence.

My musical journey has progressed through hard work and determination. I have forged relationships over the years with influential individuals in the industry to build my profile and develop my art and knowledge of the music industry. I have performed, collaborated, featured and toured with many artists nationally and internationally, including but not limited to, Kool and the Gang, Edwin Starr, D’Influence, Ruby Turner, Alyson Moyet, Tarju Le'Sano, Jerry Colvin, Elisha La'Verne, and Ben Okafor.
I specialise in vocal training, performance and song-writing and I have mentored and coached young people in schools, youth clubs and other creative outlets in project and band management, performance, songwriting and singing techniques, both in group settings and/or on a one-to-one basis.

My musical career to date has been varied, particularly being part of groups/bands (both as a member and co-manager) as a singer/songwriter. I took a break after 2007 due to changes in my family situation as I became the sole provider and was caring for my child who was diagnosed with diabetes. I worked in the Financial Industry as a project/change manager which has allowed me to develop essential skills for managing projects and stakeholders, leading teams and delivering to time, quality and budget. During this time and in the past few years, I also refocused on building my solo career, developing myself as a producer alongside doing vocal sessions and features wherever possible to keep myself musically active and up to date. I also sought out collaborations with up-coming and established producers to enhance my technical skills and continued mentoring up-coming artists.

Between 2019-2020, I wrote/co-produced and released a self-funded EP 'This is Me', which had air plays on local radio with the singles 'This is Me' and ‘Blue Skies’. Collaborators on this project included professionals such as Marcus Byrne (Take That and Jeff Lynne (ELO) tour MD, pianist/producer), Peter Harris (guitar), Gabrielle Nuzzoli (drums) and Colin Peter (guitarists); Carlton Romilee (saxophone); Roger Inniss (Bass). Through this project, I have built up my profile, with listening figures and streams to date reaching more 30K on Spotify. I managed through this challenging year to continue to grow my fan base and followers whilst maintaining and building my network in the industry.
