Undoubtably one of the brightest stars in Leeds’ rap scene & one of the finest MCs in the UK, Dialect is constantly collaborating and pushing his music out through single & EP releases, music videos, radio appearances and now live stream clash battles. Known for his vicious rap battles skills that have been featured across the world, performances on Radio 1 Xtra, Lord Of The Mics, Don’t Flop, SBTV & Tim Westwood TV, and captaining a team for Red Bull’s “Grime-a-side” competition, Dialect is building his own repertoire with a string of solo tracks online and profile collaborations..

Performing regularly at King Of The Dot, Canada’s premier rap battle league, Dialect is also a team captain regular in Red Bull’s Rap Battle League with several Man Of The Match accolades awarded to him. Staying true to his name & West Yorkshire roots, Dialect delivers in his raw Leeds accent, staying real throughout. He’s not afraid of hard work, regularly taking to the streets of Leeds to busk, honing his flow

As a leader in Leeds’ rap scene, his Talk Is Cheap events and radio show, feature a host of upcoming talent from the region, having a notable impact on up-coming Columbia property Cole LC, who regularly cites him as a key influence. Recent tracks have also featured Rap Game star Graft and local garage heroes, Vital Techniques. Dialect appeared at both Black Lives Matter and Black Voices demonstrations in Leeds during Summer 2020, infront of a crowd of thousands.

Since 2019, Dialect has been supported by Come Play With Me, releasing two singles “In The Zone” and “Come Up” with full support from the label, which regularly releases the most exciting artists from Yorkshire, including Team Picture, Talkboy, Harkin and Mansion of Snakes. As per the label’s process, In the Zone was picked up for release by a panel of key tastemakers including BBC Radio 1’s Abbie McCarthy, Roisin O’Connor from The Independent and Simon Rix from Kaiser Chiefs.

With support from The MOBO Help Musicians Fund I will release two singles, which will be backed by accompanying videos, marketing and radio support. I also plan work on new material for release further down the line.
