Fabian van de Geest is a student at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where he is studying for a Master of Music degree supported by Help Musicians UK. He recently graduated with a first class Bachelor of Music degree from the Royal College Music where he studied with Simon Rayner, Tim Jones and John Ryan. During his time there he spent an Erasmus exchange studying with Radovan Vlatkovic in Salzburg and has played in masterclasses with Stefan Dohr and Fergus McWilliam. A regular freelance player, Fabian has worked with some of London’s top orchestras including the Philharmonia Orchestra and London Philharmonic Orchestra under conductors such as Esa-Pekka Salonen, Vladimir Ashkenazy and Herbert Blomstedt. With these orchestras, he has performed around the UK and in concert halls throughout Europe. This summer he took part in the London Sinfonietta Academy and performed as part of Skyline Brass at the Klosters Music Festival.
