Georgia Ruth is songwriter and harpist from Aberystwyth in West Wales. 

Her bilingual debut album, Week of Pines, won the 2013 Welsh Music Prize, and was nominated for two BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. 

In 2014, Georgia appeared as a guest vocalist on the Manic Street Preachers’ Futurology (the album reached no.2 on the Official UK Album Chart).

She has performed extensively in India, both as a member of Ghazalaw (whose debut album was released on Cerys Matthews’ Marvels of the Universe label in 2015) and as part of the British Council’s Folk Nations project. She has performed in Vietnam for the British Council, both in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. 

She released her second album, Fossil Scale, on Navigator Records in 2016 and is currently working on her third.
