A boundary-defying RNB/ pop artist exploring black futurism and sci-fi through emotive music, technology laced art and intoxicating live performances. She develops dream state worlds for audiences to explore, bridging the gap between music, art, performance and technology.
In 2020 she created commissioned performance for FACT Magazine and Somerset House as well as showcasing her new digital performance game prototype at Mutek Festival, with further interactions coming in 2021.
GLOR1A challenges the underrepresentation of Black females in sci-fi and myth, exploring the utopia of equality for all in her work. In 2020 she created a thought starting series peering at technologies effects on race, art and our existence, (supported by the ICA London and Deformal New York) Her risk-taking attitude makes her truly original.
GLOR1A is art.
Support from Help Musicians will go towards the visual element of my new EP METAL which will be short form video content, a website reboot and a music video.
