Hana was born in 2000 (hence the 2K) and grew up a few miles south of Cardiff. Teaching herself to play guitar, then piano that she started to find her own identity through music. At fourteen-years-old, Hana got her dad to help her upload ten self-written songs to SoundCloud - she quickly caught attention of the blogosphere, radio and major labels, this culminated in BBC Introducing selected as ‘Track of The Week’ it also received plays from Dermot O’Leary Radio 2. After a period being managed by the company responsible for the planet’s biggest boyband, Hana used this experience to learn how to produce music and create her own distinctive sound. HANA2K has now developed her unique brand of huge, unapologetic pop bangers with an instinctive depth that delivers style and substance in equal measure.
Citing the likes of CharliXCX, Imogen Heap and Max Martyn as major influences – HANA2K is a sensational artist unfolding who has the potential to reach the upper echelons of the pop sphere.
Her latest four songs have amassed over a million streams, she received support from PRS Foundation, BBC Wales Horizons, The Best Line of Fit, Hilly Dilly, Going Solo and more.
