A native of Hong Kong, Jessie relocated to London in 2012 and trained with Amanda Roocroft and Adrian Thompson. She completed her Master of Music at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and gained her Master in Opera at Conservatori Liceu, Barcelona. She has previously work with Thomas Allen, Dame Ann Murray, Roger Vignoles, Barbara Frittoli, Mariella Devia and Luciana Serra in masterclasses. 

In 2016, Jessie was a Britten-Pears Young Artist and iSing! Festival Young Artist. She is a recipient of Bourse Michelle 2015 and Frima and Zeev Markus Bursary 2017.

Operatic appearances include Queen of the Night The Magic Flute with Lyric Opera Studio Weimar and Conservatori Liceu, Anna Reich The Merry Wives of Windsor with Theatre Rudolstadt, title role in Alcina with New London Opera Players and Corilla in Viva la Mamma with Jerusalem Vocal Arts Festival. She has also performed as Gilda Rigoletto, Adina L’Elisir d’Amore, Adele Die Fledermaus, Ariel The Tempest and Héro Béatrice et Benedict, Nanetta Falstaff and Oscar Un Ballo in Maschera in opera scenes. She was a member of Wexford Festival Opera Chorus, as well as Soprano in Membra Jesu Nostri in Fall 2016.

Award winning soprano Jessie was given the First Prize, Gitanilla Prize and Leoncavallo Prize in Antonio Bertolini Competition in 5th Coop Music Awards in Milan and made her concert debut in Auditorium Gaber Pirelli. In December 2016 she performed in Teatro Dal Verme and was award 3rd Prize in the Grand Finale. Other prizes include 3rd prize in Llangollen Eisteddfod 2015 International Voice of the future competition and 2016 Yokohama International Music Competition.

In January 2017, she gave a workshop on Chinese repertoire in Metropolitan Park, Santiago de Chile. Recent performances include concerts in England, Switzerland, Germany and Italy. She will be singing Konstanze (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) in Municipal & Regional Theatre of Patras in May 2018 and Violetta (La Traviata) in China Fall 2018.
