Naomi Woo is a Canadian pianist, conductor, and musicologists with interests across a wide range of music. As a concerto soloist, she has performed Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto no. 2 with the Falcon Ensemble, and she will appear with the Cambridge University Symphony Orchestra in Prokofiev's Piano Concerto no. 2 in December 2016. A passionate advocate for new music by living composers, she was a prizewinner at the 2016 Eckhardt-Gramatte Competition for the performance of Canadian and contemporary music, and has conducted the world premieres of works by Susie Self, David Leigh, Stephen Feigenbaum, Ellis Ludwig-Leone, and Emily Cooley.

Naomi studied Mathematics, Philosophy, and Music at Yale University. She has also lived and worked in Montreal with the generous support of the Canada Council for the Arts, and is currently pursuing a PhD at Cambridge University as a Gates Cambridge Scholar.
