Robert Digney is a clarinettist in his first year of the Master of Music course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where he studies with John Cushing, Maximiliano Martin, Joe Pacewicz and Heather Nicoll. As an undergraduate student at the RCS he successfully auditioned for the Apprenticeship Schemes with both the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, culminating in a series of performances with the BBC SSO as part of its Ten Pieces Project. He is a regular member of the RCS Symphony, Chamber and Opera Orchestras and has recently performed with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. He is kindly supported by the RCS Scholarship Fund, a Help Musicians UK Postgraduate Award, the Cross Trust and the Hope Scott Trust.
