'It is music on its own terms, operating on a level that hits those parts of your brain a lot of music only sometimes scrapes. There’s so much going on and all of it is brilliant.' The Line of Best Fit.

Strange Boy is an up-and-coming duo from London. Combining dark, ambient electronics with delicate vocals, strings and brass, the group have already garnered praise for their bold aesthetic.

The band released their debut single BROODING earlier this year, with track and video premiering at the The Line of Best Fit and Schön! Magazine respectively. They were longlisted for the Glastonbury Emerging Talent competition and recently featured as one of Love Magazine's top new London bands.

When not playing in Strange Boy the band are avid composers and collaborators, with singer Kieran Brunt recently making music with Nils Frahm, Anna von Hausswolff and Terry Riley. Matt Huxley, the other half of Strange Boy, has recently remixed Nico Muhly's music for James McVinnie's recent release, Cycles_1 and scored a BBC 3 documentary.

The band release their first EP, 'Annunciation', this July, and look forward to recording more music in New York in August with the generous support of Help Musicians UK and Pledge Music.
