We’re very proud to announce the winners of our inaugural UK Rap Award, a career accelerator programme created to support and elevate rap artists across the UK.

Developed in partnership with DJ and broadcaster Tiffany Calver, this initiative reflects our continued commitment to helping musicians seize opportunities, overcome barriers and build sustainable careers.

The UK rap scene is one of the most influential and culturally significant areas of British music today. However, we know that many within the genre — particularly Black artists and those from underrepresented backgrounds — continue to face systemic challenges. The UK Rap Award was designed to respond to these realities by providing access to resources, networks and opportunities that can make a lasting difference.

Following a highly competitive application process, we’re delighted to introduce this year’s recipients:

Each artist stood out for their creativity, originality and potential, representing the depth of talent in UK rap today.

Through the programme, these artists will receive tailored support that includes one-to-one business advice, mentorship from industry professionals, and funding of up to £3,000 to develop their music projects. They will also take part in networking opportunities and peer sessions designed to foster community and collaboration.

This initiative is grounded in the challenges highlighted by our research, including findings from the Musicians’ Census, which showed that a significant number of artists working in rap report low mental wellbeing. Combined with ongoing inequalities experienced across the industry, it’s clear that targeted support is needed.

Through the UK Rap Award, we aim not only to recognise talent but to invest in the future of UK music. We can’t wait to see what this cohort of awardees will go on to achieve, and we’re excited to support them on their journeys.
