Tribute to former trustee Martin Neary
We at Help Musicians are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Martin Neary, a trustee and tireless advocate for our charity.
Over 22 years Martin’s support, guidance and unwavering commitment to the welfare of musicians made an invaluable difference to our work. We are incredibly grateful for everything he did for Help Musicians — at that time the Musicians Benevolent Fund.
We have supported musicians for over 100 years, helping artists at every stage of their career and working towards a world where they can thrive. We know how much this meant to Martin; his efforts over more than two decades were felt in many ways by talented musicians across the country. His involvement helped us continue to be there for the people behind the music — the music we all love, and that shapes our lives.
Our condolences to Martin’s friends and love ones. He will be sorely missed.
