Charlotte is currently studying for a Masters at the Royal Academy of Music. Since beginning her studies she has worked with a number of orchestras including the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Bath Philharmonic and the Jersey Chamber Orchestra.
Charlotte completed her undergraduate studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne, learning with Georg Klütsch. Previous to this she was a category finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the Year, awarded the Sir John Barbirolli Memorial Foundation Scholarship and the BBC Fame Academy Award. She also won the Princess Diana Award for Outreach Work in the Community.
Charlotte has been selected for a number of young artist programs including the London Symphony Orchestra Woodwind Academy, Chipping Campden Orcehstral Acadmey and the Britten-Pears Young Artist programme, playing in both the Orchestra and Aldeburgh Winds. As well as this she was selected for the Internationale Sommerakademie für Kammermusik Niedersachsen in Germany. Charlotte has played with NJO (The National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands) and was previous to this principal bassoon of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.

Charlotte has performed as a soloist , orchestrally and in small ensembles throughout Great Britain, Germany and Holland. Venues include the Wigmore Hall (solo recital), Muziekgebouw (ensemble performance) and St Martin’s- in- the Fields (playing concertos with the Brandenburg Sinfonia).
