James Hulme studied the oboe at Chetham’s School of Music. Originally from Manchester and now a Master’s student at the RAM, he studies with Chris Cowie, Ian Hardwick and Kai Frömbgen in Düsseldorf. Aside from his studies James enjoys a busy freelance life and has played as a guest in orchestras including the Philharmonia, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Welsh National Opera, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Royal Ballet Sinfonia. He is delighted to be supported by Help Musicians UK for his postgraduate study.
