“UK-based, Dutch musician LIO is one of Holland’s most intriguing new singer-songwriters, having carved a reputation as someone who is able to capture the pure essence of human emotion within her music.” - All Things Loud
Netherlands-born, Sheffield-based LIO has taken the stage supporting acts such as Estrons, Skinny Pelembe, Slow Club, Our Girl and Orchards. In 2018 LIO launched as a full band, further building her eclectic sound compared to the likes of Florence and the Machine and Kate Bush. They have quickly gathered momentum through festival appearances (Liverpool Sound City, Tramlines, Y Not Festival), radio play (Amazing Radio, BBC Introducing) and their Tramlines Festival 2019 debut on T’Other Stage.
