I am currently going into my third year at Urdang Academy, studying a diploma in Musical Theatre. I have been performing since the age of 3 years old and I have taken part in dance festivals, school and College shows. The styles of dance that I been taught over the years are tap, ballet, contemporary, tech jazz, MT jazz, street and commercial. I love to sing in legit and belt/mix quality and I have also had the opportunity to take part in televisual and Musical theatre acting. Besides this I have had the opportunity to learning different accents, such as, American (New York, General and Southern) and RP. I have played a variety of roles in the summer shows at Urdang; Deloris from Sister Act, Angelica from Hamilton and Holly Sullivan in The Wedding Singer. I had my first professional job this year as Doris (One of the church ladies) in The Colour Purple Concert and it was such as honour to work with so many established actors/actresses, such as, Marisha Wallace and Rachel John; it really was one of the best experiences of my life so far. I have been so fortunate and lucky to have been part of something so amazing before completing my diploma.
Furthermore, I have also been privileged to receive the Ian Fleming Award which will be such a huge help in my final year of training.
