Rowan is a fiddle-singer, writer and tunesmith who grew up in the foothills of the Burren on the west coast of Ireland, surrounded by traditional music. The author of two successful tunebooks, he has also written articles for several magazines and led fiddle workshops at festivals all over the UK. 
He is well-known for performing with folksingers Georgia Lewis, Rosie Hodgson, & Anna Tabbush; as well as with many ceilidh bands.
This year has seen the release of his debut album, Mountscribe, as well as a compilation album for his SONGHIVE folksong project to raise awareness of the current plight of our bees...
