A Britten Pears Young Artist, soprano Suzanne Fischer won first prize at the Oxford Lieder Young Artist Platform 2016, the Förderpreis at Das Lied:International Song Competition 2015, the Pavarotti Prize (65th Viotti Competition). Summer 2016 sees a return to Glyndebourne Festival Opera, followed by Berta in Rossini’s Il Barbiere for Munich Kammeroper. Operatic performances include Ginevra/Ariodante for Tristan&Associates and Katja/O.H.I.O for the Deutsche Oper, Gilda/Rigoletto and Konstanze/Die Entführung. Suzanne works with pianists Jonathan Ware and Panaretos Kyriatzidis and has upcoming recitals including St. John's Smith Square, Oxford Lieder Festival and the London Song Festival.

Suzanne read Music at Edinburgh and Milan University and studied voice at the Hanns Eisler conservatoire in Berlin with Thomas Quasthoff. She is mentored by Norah Amsellem, Laura Claycomb and Laura Aikin and fluent in Italian and German. Suzanne is grateful for the support from the Countess of Munster and Help Musicians UK during her training.
