It can be really tough when you’re starting out as a musician. From physical health issues that can halt your momentum to the demands of balancing practice, performance and everyday life, challenges do come up. 

• We can offer financial assistance to help with treatment for health issues and injuries, depending on your situation
• We can also connect you to partners and service providers who can further support you with whatever you’re dealing with 

To qualify for the Early Musicians Welfare scheme you must:

• Be aged 18 or over
• Evidence that you earnt at least £500 from music in the 12 months before application

As demand for our support is very high, we may need to apply limits on how much support we can provide to any one individual. This allows us to ensure that our limited resources can reach as many musicians as possible and give priority to those who need it the most.
