Musicians Hearing Health Scheme
Custom hearing protection, built for musicians
If you’re a musician, you face a higher risk of hearing loss than average because of your regular exposure to loud noise. Once it happens, the effects are irreversible and can have a serious impact on both your career and wider life.
Our Musicians Hearing Health Scheme is here to help, providing heavily discounted hearing tests and custom hearing protection that mean you can protect your hearing for the long-term.
We’ve supported more than 20,000 people through our hearing health service over the last decade, and we have over ten years of experience delivering hearing health services built specifically for musicians and their needs.
The scheme is currently paused, but will re-open soon. To be notified when it does, please use the sign-up form below.

- Apply online. The scheme is currently paused, but will re-open soon. To be notified when it does, please use the sign-up form below.
- We’ll be in touch. After you apply, we’ll contact you directly, so you’ll hear from Help Musicians first. If your application is eligible, our service provider will then contact you to schedule your appointment. Most appointments will be scheduled within one month of your application. You should be waiting no longer than a month between your application and first appointment.
- Two visits to your local branch. The scheme involves two visits to your local branch of our service provider. At the first, they will conduct a full audiological assessment and take a mould of your ears for your custom earplugs. The second visit is to collect your earplugs, check that they fit, and answer any questions.
You can use most of our service provider’s high street branches across the UK that offer hearing services.
