1 in 4 of the soloists performing at this year's #BBCProms supported by Help Musicians

The BBC Proms returned with a live audience this summer for the first time since September 2019.

Here at Help Musicians, we are proud to be able to say that 1 in 4 soloists performing this year received support from us at the start of their careers.

On the evening of Monday 16 August it was the turn of Welsh soprano and Help Musicians ambassador, Natalya Romaniw, who performed as part of Prom 19: A Night at the Opera.

With themes of separation and reconciliation, it brought together the brightest stars of British Opera, including Natalya and our newest ambassador, Scottish tenor, Nicky Spence.

A Night at the Opera be available to listen to until the end of September 2021 here.

Before the performance Natalya spoke to us about what support from Help Musicians has meant to her and musicians like her.
