Unique weekend of music across the country will celebrate grassroots venues, and the artists who depend on them

At Help Musicians, we know that careers don’t often start on big stages — they start in small rooms, local venues, and in communities that celebrate and nurture new talent. That’s why we’re proud to be involved with Everywhere At Once, a groundbreaking UK-wide live music weekend taking place from 26 – 28 June 2026.

Led by Music Venue Trust and powered by The National Lottery, this initiative will see over 400 grassroots venues across the UK host over 2,000 artists. From household names like Becky Hill, Tinie Tempah and The Divine Comedy to the next generation of emerging talent, the weekend will showcase the depth and diversity of the UK’s music talent.

But, unlike other festivals, Everywhere At Once will be bringing music to your doorstep – no travel or tent required. Its geographic spread invites audiences to rediscover the vital role local venues play, not just as performance spaces but as incubators of talent and spaces for community and connection.

Grassroots venues have long faced significant challenges, and their future remains fragile. Yet they are essential to the health of our music ecosystem, and to the careers of musicians. Many of the artists we celebrate today began their journeys in these spaces, supported by passionate promoters, audiences and networks that believed in them early on.

I started writing music at 13. I got into a band at 15 & started doing local open mics & small gigs around Worcestershire. There were no arts-focused schools in my area, not that my parents had the money to pay for it anyway, so the only way to nurture my newly found passion was at grassroots venues.

For Help Musicians, this event reflects some of the core values that power our work: supporting artists at key moments stage of their careers, strengthening the environments that make music possible, and celebrating the role of music in our lives and communities

Audiences will have the opportunity to donate to a number of music charities — including Help Musicians — when purchasing tickets. These contributions help us continue providing vital creative, financial and wellbeing support to musicians across the UK.

Everywhere At Once is more than a weekend of gigs. It’s a call to recognise the importance of grassroots music, to show up for local artists, and to invest in the future of our industry.

This June, wherever you are, be part of something bigger — because when we support grassroots performance, we support the artists who create the music we love.
