MOBO Help Musicians Amplified

We are very pleased to announce the opening of MOBO Help Musicians Amplified, a new accelerator programme offering artists the change to take the next step in their career. 

If you’re a producer, DJ or musician crafting or performing music of Black origin but lack the resources to pursue a career-defining opportunity, this new offer could be for you. 

MOBO Help Musicians Amplified is a 12-month career accelerator programme offering funding, expert 1‑to‑1 business advice, and exclusive industry access — helping artists move forward with clarity and confidence in today’s fast-evolving music landscape.

Whether you’re self-releasing, working independently, or preparing for your next big move, this programme is designed to amplify your journey. 

This support is open to musicians looking to take the next step or grow their careers. You might be an emerging artist building momentum towards a debut EP or an established producer exploring a transition into live performance. Whatever stage you’re at, we’re here to help you move forward.

Successful applicants will receive: 

• £3,000 in funding to support your next creative milestone

• 6 hours of tailored 1‑to‑1 business advice from seasoned industry professionals

• Regular online meetups with fellow artists and guest speakers
  

• Paid travel and accommodation to attend a one-day peer and industry mixer in London
  

• Ongoing profile-raising support from both MOBO and Help Musicians

This new programme builds on years of successful partnership between Help Musicians and MOBO. Since 2016, we’ve invested nearly £1 million in funding, mentorship and development support — helping artists turn ambition into action.
