After spending the past year and a half performing and writing as part of various collectives, and supporting the likes of Gregory Porter, Roy Aires and Public Enemy in concert (Mostly Jazz Festival Birmingham, 2015), Amy is now forging her way forward as a solo artist in her own right.

She has previously been described as a “one woman musical army” and uses an intuitive approach to music making; experimenting with a variety of different instruments and sounds – all without preconceived ideas or expectations of the final product. It is this spontaneous and improvised method of working that has allowed her to find freedom as well as the courage to craft, develop and share new and original works.

In 2016 Amy staged and funded her own Mini-Brexit Solo Tour taking with her an ambition to use art to dissolve borders, whilst aiming for an authentic and worthwhile devising and performing experience. If you were there, you will have seen that in concert, her main weapons of choice are; the Korg Electribe [Ableton Live 9] Music Production Station, Fender Squier Bronco Bass, TC Helicon vocal station, an antique wooden winding music box and magical chime bars.

Motivated by the desire to hone her creative songwriting & composing skills, Amy is currently working on a debut album or 'body of work' of sorts, to be released on her own record label and shared with international audiences in times to come.
