Born in Tunisia in 1995, Bacem Anas Romdhani started his violin studies at the age of six, at his father’s music school 'Conservatoire Zyriab of Music and Dance' in Tunis. He studied with Professor Rachid Koubaa and later on moved to Sem Sliman. 
At the age of ten, he started his international debut when he represented Africa to play with the World Philharmonic Orchestra in Paris. 
Shortly after, they granted him a scholarship which he used to study abroad with leading teachers in Europe, with 'Thierry Huchin' 1st violin at L’opera de la Bastille in France, 'Natalie Geoffrey' in Lyon and 'Claire Bourdet' in Belgium. 

Bacem Anas won 1st prize at the ‘Vatelot-Rampal’ competition in France in 2007 aged ten. Later that year, he attended a master class in Switzerland ‘Tibor Varga’ with the Great Russian violinist ‘Viktor Pikaizen’.

In 2007, Bacem Anas appeared as a soloist with the Tunisian Symphony Orchestra at one of the biggest theatres, 'Municipal Theatre of Tunisia'. 
His successful performance was recognised by the film producer ‘Hichem Ben Ammar’. 
After four years of filming, a documentary about Bacem Anas called ‘Once Upon our Time’ was published in 2010. The documentary won prizes at various festivals in Italy, France, Qatar and other countries. 
This came to the attention of generous donors which soon led his move to London to join the Yehudi Menuhin School successful. 
He started his studies at the Yehudi Meunhin School in Surrey, London with Akiko Ono and moved to study with the world renowned pedagogue and violinist, Simon Fischer. 

Since his move to join the Yehudi Menuhin School, he played solo concerts in venues such as Nightingale house, Menuhin Hall and the Wigmore Hall in London. Various other venues in Tunisia include, City of Science, El Jam Theatre and regularly gets invited back to play with the Tunisian Symphony Orchestra at their residency Hall ‘Municipal Theatre of Tunisia’. 
Bacem Anas also engages in orchestral and chamber music works. 
He toured with the Yehudi Menuhin School Orchestra in London ‘Mansion house’ and ‘Thaxted church’, Holland ‘Muziekgebouw’ and in Switzerland Gastaad for the Yehudi Menuhin Festival. 

He graduated successfully from the Yehudi Menuhin School in 2014 and received a scholarship to join the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. 
He is currently finishing his final bachelor degree of studies with Simon Fischer where he will graduate in July 2018. 

Bacem Anas Romdhani performs on the 1998 'Ex Lord Yehudi Menuhin' violin made by Andreas Hellinge in Switzerland. This violin purchase was made possible by generous private donors. He also uses an English bow by W.E.Hill. kindly on Loan from Benjamin Hebbert Violins Limited in London.
