Guy Elliott is a young tenor based in London where he studies at the Royal College of Music with Alison Wells. He is generously supported by the Sir Roger and Lady Carr Soiree D'Or Scholarship and a Help Musicians UK postgraduate award. Guy graduated with a first class degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2016 where he studied with Sophie Grimmer and was supported by the Joaninha Trust and again by Help Musicians UK. He won the Leith Hill Award for singers in 2015.

Guy is an experienced concert soloist with recent highlights including the Scratch Messiah (Handel) at the Royal Albert Hall with the English Festival Orchestra, Nelson Mass (Haydn) in Riga Cathedral Lativia, Requiem (Mozart) at the Leith Hill Festival and performances of the Evangelist St. John Passion (Bach). He is also a keen exponent of new and experimental music with notable performances including Stimmung (Stockhausen) with Singcirle at Barbican Hall and for the Southbank Centre’s The Rest is Noise festival.

On the operatic stage, Guy has an interest in baroque opera having recently performed Damon Acis and Galatea (Handel) for Hurn Court Opera and covered Telemachus Ulysses’ Homecoming (Monteverdi) and Mercurio La Calisto (Cavalli) for English Touring Opera. Guy also developed the role of Twink Boys of Paradise for WorkshOPERA. For Trinity Laban Opera, he performed the roles of Belshazzar Belshazzar (Handel) and Lysander A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Britten) for which he was described in review as 'custom designed, articulating and projecting with perfect clarity. 

Guy has a passion for arts education having worked with the education department of English Touring Opera on roles including Olly in Waxwings, an opera for children with SEN which toured the UK and performed at Philharmonie Luxembourg and Orpheus in One Step Forward, a school collaboration. He has also performed songs from On Wenlock Edge (Vaughan Williams) with the education department of the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

Upcoming projects include covering Sandy in The Lighthouse (Peter Maxwell Davies) for the RCM international Opera School and Mozart Requiem with Concerts from Scratch in Vienna.
