Soprano Juliet Fraser has a repertoire dominated by the very old and the very new.
Increasingly active as a new music soloist, she has performed with Klangforum Wien, ICTUS, Talea, Plus-Minus, We Spoke: and London Sinfonietta, and as a duo with pianist Mark Knoop. She remains a core member of EXAUDI, the acclaimed vocal ensemble, which she founded in 2002 with James Weeks. Juliet has premiered well over 100 works, many of which have been written for her, and has worked particularly closely with composers Cassandra Miller, Rebecca Saunders, Michael Finnissy, Bernhard Lang and Matthew Shlomowitz. Her recording of Morton Feldman's 'Three Voices' was released on Hat Hut Records in 2016. She is Artistic Director of eavesdropping, a new series and a symposium dedicated to new music.
