Paul McKenzie is currently studying for a Master’s Degree in Piano Accompaniment at the Royal College of Music, with Simon Lepper; supported by a Drapers' Music Award, Help Musicians UK Accompanist Award and an Ian Evans Lombe Award. Previously he studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, with a scholarship, under the tutelage of Michael Young; during which time he won the Jacobson Recital Prize, Eric Hodges Beethoven Prize and was awarded with the Philippa Whitelaw Yardley Memorial Award. Recent concerts include performances in St. Martin in the Fields, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Cadogan Hall and the Council of Europe with Royal College ensembles and as the soloist in Saint-Saens' 4th piano concerto with Bath Symphony Orchestra.
