After a decade working as a musician, Leeds-based pianist & composer Simeon Walker has quickly emerged as a leading light in the burgeoning Modern Classical scene in his own right, following the release of his first EP 'Preface' and his debut full length album 'Mono'.
In recent years, Simeon has performed across the UK and Europe, supporting the likes of S. Carey, Erland Cooper, Sebastian Plano & Taz Modi, whilst also appearing at Latitude Festival, Q3Ambientfest and a range of concerts, shows and live music events.
He has received notable support from BBC Radio 3's Unclassified & Late Junction shows, 6Music & BBC Introducing, and online American radio station KEXP. He also founded and continues to curate Brudenell Piano Sessions; an intimate and varied concert series focused on highlighting the diverse music being composed and performed on the piano.
In a busy, click and scroll world, Simeon’s calm, introspective piano-based instrumentals invite the listener to find stillness, beauty and meaning as much in the spaces between the notes as the notes themselves, as musical stories are woven with each tender, intimate performance.
