VOLUNTEER EVENT AND FUNDRAISING ASSISTANT OPPORTUNITY FOR THE SAY AWARD  - Paisley Town Hall 28 June 2017

Are you passionate about live music? As Official charity partner to the SAY Award, we are looking for three volunteers based in or near Paisley to help us set up our presence, raise vital funds for professional musicians by shaking buckets and increase awareness of our work at the awards on 28 June.

The SAY Award is a prestigious and exciting arts prize produced by the Scottish Music Industry Association (SMIA), with confirmed partners for 2017 including Paisley for UK City of Culture 2021, Creative Scotland, Black Bottle, TicketWeb and PPL. The award celebrates, promotes and rewards the most outstanding Scottish albums released each year. Respected by artists and valued by the industry, The SAY Award is responsible for a surge in musical discovery and an explosion of impassioned debate on social media.

The SAY Award 2017 Shortlist will be announced on 15 June as part of a BBC Quay Sessions show, with the award ceremony then taking place on 28 June in the surroundings of Paisley's elegant Town Hall.

Travel expenses will be covered.

Please get in touch by emailing us at volunteer@helpmusicians.org.uk or calling us on 0207 239 9114 or visit our Volunteer page if you are interested in volunteering for this role.
