If you are a producer, DJ or musician creating or performing in electronic music without the financial backing or resources to pursue a career-changing opportunity, then this award might be for you.

It’s a 12-month career accelerator programme which will see you connect with other musicians creating electronic music, gain business advice, build out your industry networks and insights and receive funding towards your own music project.

Who is this Award for? 

This award is for electronic musicians who are looking to take the next step or expand your career.

You might be a producer with the right momentum to release a debut EP, or an established DJ wanting to build out your career by moving into production.

What does this award include? 

  • Up to £3,000 towards your own music project 
  • 6 hours of 121 Business Advice from industry experts 
  • Online meet ups with other awardees and industry guests, with expenses to attend a one-day peer and industry mixer event in London 
  • An 8‑session online course in music business skills tailored to electronic music
  • Monthly online peer drop-in spaces with other musicians (optional)
  • Access to a healthy practice session delivered by BAPAM (optional)

DJ Mag 

A limited number of supported artists will also have the opportunity to have their projects platformed by DJ Mag. 

As part of our partnership, the team at DJ Mag are able to provide a cohort of awardees with direct support, including 1‑on‑1 discussions with the staff, networking guidance and editorial coverage.

Supported artists are invited to opt-in to the opportunity with the final selection being at DJ Mag’s discretion.
